Actually, I though the wording was interesting. They didn't say he has an injury they are worried about, they said they "...monitored Cameron's condition between signing his contract and his scheduled arrival and...needed more certainty about his ability to handle the tough demands of our long season..."

I came in to comment on this also, what a fucking crap thing to happen. to pack your life up and move overseas, only to be told that the conditions of the contract have changed!

Agree totally! Hope his lawyers made sure there was a generous compensation provision in the contract they had him sign!! It's only 3 weeks from the start of the Aviva FGS!!

What's worse is that they KNEW his injury history even before he left Perth! It sucks to leave reneging on the deal until the poor guy and his family have uprooted and moved to the other side of the world!

That term is significant. It was likely to be a clause or condition* that had to be met and was in the contract.

I can only imagine they are getting him for a song. Great player, but the fact that he is injury prone, makes him a odd choice.

Perhaps Northampton were looking for a front liner and sale are looking for a third stringer...they have massive squads over there and could probably afford to throw a couple of grand his way on the off chance that he'll stay fit.

Yer a hard man GIGGS. Even if you are right. I'm sure we are all hoping he finally shakes his bad luck and carves up. Specially against Northampton. He's THE best back to play for us so far. Bar none.
