Sadly, kiddie responsibilities were the top priority. Still watched it though and just about shouted the house down.

Maybe next time we will be given the respect we deserve and will play on a Saturday..............

Maybe if the Wallabies were selected purely on form rather than which province they play for, they would show more heart and fight!! Nothing like real competition for places to ignite that fighting spirit! Seems the simple pride of wearing the green and gold isn't enough anymore :-(
Could not agree more, Sharpie and Poey where the only ones that shone in very poor performing team.

I agree, but I thought the Scots had specifically asked for the Tuesday fixture to fit with their Pacific Islands tour schedule??

There was a time that when an Australian team (Rugby or tiddley winks) turned up to play they would play with flat out passion, guts and determination.
Whats happened? Were has the passion gone?
That game was there for the taking and The Scots took it.
A few years back I thought the Scots had lost the passion and were trying to be too professional. It seems our new lads have found the passion again and showed great pride in playing for their country. As far as I'm concerned, without passion rugby is nothing.

Brings back soggy memories of that last rained out game at NIB! Well done Sharpie and Poey for hanging onto the ball! God damn Deans for that daft game plan again!
When sumthin aint working - why keep persisting FFS. Barnes kicking up into the gale not once but the entire first half! Genia kept crabbing sideways (a la Gits style) before passing. They kept it up narrow infield when the few times they threw wide gained metres. WHY?! And when the scrums worked well all the game in comes a new recruit and everything falls apart. Guys not used to positions were slotted into a spot. The Scots did really well to play magnificent defence, as they said, they were surprised the Wallabies didn't test them with ball running. Same ol Dingo same ol bloody game plan!

Chuck Norris has the greatest Poker-Face of all time. He won the 1983 World Series of Poker, despite holding only a Joker, a Get out of Jail Free Monopoly card, a 2 of clubs, 7 of spades and a green #4 card from the game Uno.

one kick from Barnes is all that it should have taken to flick in to Plan A(b) - kick low or not at all

Well done to Scotland hung on in defence in the second half and took their opportunity when it came late

What was the second half possesion/territory stats? Because I seem to remember the Wallabies with ALOT of the ball and just not using it. Give the All Blacks that much ball against anyone and they probably rack up 50 points (as someone else pointed out in a nearlier post)

I reckon the possession/territory stats would be similar in both halves. Should have been able to take the game I suppose. I thought the major blunder was the decision to take that VERY low %age sjot for.goal in the1st half when they wete making good inroads into the wind. Well done Scotland. Specially on D.

One positive for Oz was the line out. Moores throwing in the conditions was magnificent.
