Is this a good time to bring up the name Todd Louden again? Or is he now only interested in a head coach position?

get Sharpie to help with forwards

sound out Michael O'Conner to do the backs - we need someone like him to free our backs up, they are far too conservative and way too much aimless kicking.

the Force forwards match just about everyone so ball isn't the problem

what the backs are doing with it is

I don't think our attack changed or improved much at all last year, just better players doing the same shit to a higher standard which allowed the odd better result. The open ,running rugby that was promised at the beginning of the season hopefully is on the table for next year under someone else's guidance
    Bring back JOC

Given his track record, I am a little bit surprised that he hasn't been more seriously considered as a head coach. Makes me wonder if there are personality factors or if there are some areas that he is no good at. I'd definitely be keen to have Louden as an assistant coach. He would be the type of guy who could step into the role of head coach if Foley does not stay on past the end of his three year contract.

Anyone think that meehan is un happy here because he feels hamstrung with what he was able to do with the attack by Foley.

In the first game against the Rebels we attacked hard scored 3 trys and lost the game due to a lack of a kicker and yellow cards.

We also had christi at 10.

The next game and the rest of the year we changed the way we played to a more conservative 1 out kicking game. We also didnt see christi again.

    Just thinking out load.

I'm pretty sure that Christie played a few more games at 10 after that. I think Sias really only came into first choice in the position after our SA trip.

In the last game of the year we also attacked hard (though admittedly through contestable kicks), scored 3 trys, almost scored a few more and won the game.

Meehan is gone due to poor performance in my opinion. Don't get too sucked in when a journalist states as fact that we have "lost another coach". He had a 1 year deal, which the club chose not to extend for whatever reason. He will now look elsewhere, and I wish him all the best with it.

the key point being we lost Co's Christie can't kick. Christie was a victim of his own game, not Foley meddling
