    Interesting concept...

Should be a great days Rugby today out at Baysie. U/20s will be a cracker after these two sides finished 9-3 to Uni in Rd 18. Traditional rivals Soaks and Cott should provide some fireworks in Prems especially after the 2nds go at it. Good luck also to Kala 3rds for today. Hopefully you boys can reproduce your Rd 18 result against UWA.

Didn't see all of it, but, pretty sure Soaks took it out impressiveliy in the 2nds. About 6-0 to Soaks early in 1st half in Premier. Uni scrambled over Mandurah in the 18's.

Soaks won Prems 39-5. Pretty dominant up front with Godwin controlling things beautifully. Cott tried hard but were lost for ideas after 2 phases. Louwrens the Cott halfback was superb in a losing effort. Lowlight was definitely Ben Whittaker starting a scrap with Cottrel then being yellow carded for a late hit on Godwin. Tool!
2nds was a similar score with Soaks thrashing Cott. Sorry don't remember the score.
3rds was won by Kala 27-20 over UWA. Was watching the U/20s so didn't see much other than 2 late UWA tries to their left wing.
And lastly the Kala U/20s gutsed out a 12-9 win against UWA despite the 19-3 penalty count against them. Anyone who saw this game was left in total bemusement by the refereeing display. Regardless Kala were able to execute 2 well taken tries to win and reverse the rd 18 result.
    GFs - Prems : Nedlands v Soaks
    2nds : UWA v Soaks
    U/20s : Kala v Soaks
    3rds : Kala v Nedlands
    Womens : Wanneroo v Baysie
The rest im not sure of yet.

Curtin won 4th grade black. By not much.
Mandurah won 3rd grade black. Easily. Although it was 0-0 at the break.

What did people think of the Cott Vuvozelas??
I think if you are goping to do something like that you really need to win the game and not get flogged. Bit rude when the klickers are having a shot as well.
Soaks need a new victory song as well.

I too heard that rumour - would be interested if anybody knows the realm story as I thought he was a stand out for Cott last week. Would certainly have helped Cott yesterday as they did conceded a bit in the forwards, regardless of late hits etc...

Brownie was pulled out by Western Force medicos due to a shoulder injury which required a cortisone injection. The injury needs a few weeks to heal, so he was taken out of Cotts team to make sure he would not reinjure his shoulder meaning more surgery and another long layoff.

    Those guys were dickheads.
Feel sorry for the Baysie president having to have a running battle with them all day as well as RWA officials trying to shut them up. The only lowlight apart from Whittakers antics on an otherwise fantastic days rugby.

Have watched Whittaker play 3 times this season and all he does is run around putting cheap shots in at every opportunity. One game in particular was an absolute bloody disgrace, another protected species it would seem.Someone needs to point out to him that what goes round comes round

That was what I heard too.

Interesting another red card for referee abuse in the 1st week of the finals was resolved in time for that player to take the field yesterday.

I thought RugbyWA were cracking down on this stuff. Maybe that was just last year...
