    Exclamation Win for the Bulls

Kala prems have upset top 4 side UWA 34-28 today in a very spirited display by the home team to finish the season off in grand style. Onwards and upwards for next year.
    2nds went down 33-14, 3rds won 12-8, 4ths lost 56-7, U/20s lost 9-3 and womens lost to the high flying Wanneroo 63-0.
Great day for Kala junior teams with u/13s, u/15s and u/16s all winning through to their respective Grand Finals.

    Go Bulls!!!

I understand the UWA position in top 4 may be affected by a Paly appeal following last week's game against Kala, who it is said fielded a player who shouldn't have been playing due to accumulating 3 YCs over the season ?

Can anybody shed light on the details - objective and factual content appreciated. Also, opinions on likely outcomes ?

was the club advised by rugbywa that the player was ineligible?

meanwhile neddies managed to win the minor premiership by sneaking in against wanneroo

    89--12

notice Rocky got a shellacking as well!

I did hear that rugby wa didn't advise Kala, for which you'd think Kala would be excused. If all I've heard is correct, then you'd think the standings remain, but you can imagine Paly wouldn't go quietly

I heard quite a few wanneroo players(throughout the grades) were prevented from playing by the club because their subs had not been paid
maybe Zed can cast light on the matter

Did hear about this today but can't help with any new info sorry. If RWA didn't advise of the suspension then not much can be done i don't think, it's an unfortunate staff fu$k up. It's one where you'd need to look through the comp laws/constitution on RWA website. I cant be arsed right now. No doubt Paly will see it through though it may have cost them a first round finals exit.

Good wins by Neddies over Wanneroo 89-12
    Cott over Rocky 84-11
    Paly over Baysie 13-12
    and Soaks over Wests 44-21

No. This happened very early on in the season. We've had lots of injuries and guys leaving to go overseas, FIFO etc 3rd grade had to forfeit this weekend and most of them played 2nds. 4th grade played Nedlands 3rd grade. Nedlands 1st grade were pretty ruthless today, no excuses

Showing your true colours BDG, gloat away. Typical Nedlands response, play the humble, good rugby men card all year then start parading around like peacocks sticking it up the other clubs when it comes to finals. A bit of humility wouldn't go amiss.

As I said "humility"; look it up in the dictionery, sounds like you haven't even heard of the word.

The player concerned and the coaches and managers must have known about this so basically they are fielding an ineligible player irrespective of whether Rugby WA advised them or not.Almost could be construed as cheating or at the very least not abiding by comp rules, still a massive stuff up by RWA
