    Backs Not Returning for 2013

It has been announced that a group of players have been released or not resigned or are moving on to "other pastures" for the 2013 Super Rugby Season.

I just wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you for the memories. You are a part of Western Force history.

Emirates Western Force backs not re-signed: Gene Fairbanks (Kinetsu Liners, Japan), David Harvey (released), Joshua Holmes (not re-signed), Napolioni Nalaga (Clermont, France), Jordan Rapana (released), Ben Seymour (not re-signed), Cameron Shepherd (Sale, UK), Rory Sidey (released – Melbourne Rebels), James Stannard (Toyota Shokki, Japan), Justin Turner (injured), Samu Wara (not re-signed)

Thank you and good luck with your future endeavours.

Of that list, I'm disappointed at the loss of Wara, despite some issues with tackling, he was an exciting prospect in attack and I thought a good option for EPS. And regretful about Shep, I understand the reasons, but it's a shame for a great force man like him to go in the way he did!

I don't think he was selected again after the rabble fiasco? When they scored all those tries in his corner?

Yeah. He has been considered a defensive weak link for a while.

Just puzzled as to why David Harvey was signed up for another year in the first place. I know I'm not an orphan here..... Did those responsible have such a low opinion of he Force that they thought no one who is half decent would even consider the Force?

I think you will find the answer is actually RG.

No. Graham had gone when they re-signed him. Definitely Hardy

You're right it was Sidey that RG planted, I mean resigned before his exit

As well as Wara's questionable defense his legs always looked like giving out. He was always strapped up to the eyeballs and after every run over 10m he leant back and rubbed his hammy and quads like he'd pulled something.

there is ONE thing to remember about Sam.

He scored the winning try against Tahs in Sydney.

Club leg end. Should retire his number for that act alone.

The other points were all scored by David Harvey. After being picked up by the Force the day before.

Didn't know plays or players, and virtually single handedly won that game for us.

Fast forward 3 months and he is treated on this site like he slept with everyones sister.
