No idea. Like I said though I'm just cutting him some slack, not defending what he did - it was no better or worse than Genia,Ioane and plenty of others. I've always had a gut feeling that the Dogs' management at the time were not exactly doing what was needed to keep him at Belmore. IIRC they flat out refused to talk to him about a contract upgrade.

Watched 1 of the potential captains of the Eels on Foxsports last night.Welcomed SBW back to league,but couldn't help himself from having a petty,nasty swipe at union.The NRL had to put a muzzle on Silly Mason and I think I know who will be next.You just don't see union players saying that sort of shit
