Tributes pour in for David Tait

Premiership Rugby, the RFU and several players have paid tribute to former Sale Sharks player David Tait, who died on Wednesday aged 25.

Rugby followers will be saddened to hear the news that former Sale Sharks back-row forward David Tait has died at the age of 25, the club confirmed.

Tait, whose Premiership career at the Sharks was cut short by injuries, is understood to have fallen from an apartment block in Hong Kong.

The former Sedbergh School player moved to the Far East after Sale and soon became a corporate finance manager for multinational firm KPMG.
