News to me ? have we lost the Badger for 2014 ??

We have tooooo many fringe players for Super Rugby. We need to spend the dollars to have a team of Super 15 players, as by the look of things Foley has his favourites no matter how they are playing or perfoming without trying something different... Buy some Good players for 2 - 3 year contracts to develop our Fringe players.

He was being touted as off to Japan earlier this year, perhaps that was an agent's ploy to pressure Deans into selecting him in the Wallabies squad.

Regardless of the fact that he has picked himself with the return from injury!

If the Force can't afford Cummins, I'd be pretty surprised if anyone else could- except maybe the Rebels if they lose their big name stars.

If we do keep him, I reckon a permanent move to 13 might be an option.

Kohinga is only 16 still. In 2 years this kid will be a gun.

He played U/20s yesterday and tore Soaks midfield apart, just needed a couple of helpers out wide running better lines.
Young 7? Lukas Birch anyone?
Was best on ground for both the U/20s and Prems yesterday. Best thing about Lukas is the better the opposition, the better he plays.
Soaks 7 in Prems yesterday was also from their U/20s and was very good also.
Hope Foleys brave enough to bite the bullet and promote some of the local talent coming through.

Well if we have this talent then has the Force signed these guys to an extended academy. There should be a talent scout identifying the best guys and then they are brought in to train on a regular basis with the Force. Does Foley or Steve Meehan or even Nick Stiles go out and look at these guys ? Once the guys are deemed potential recruits they would then get a training incentive, fee, enducement or waratahs green fees to keep them here.

Cummo's manager wants a shed load of dosh for his Badger Brand next season and whilst we all want him to stay, I hope this includes the Force, Can they afford him under the disparate Salary Cap rules lobbed around. Will HB get an ARU top up? If so there is hope, If not???

I hope he stays. The only other aus franchise that would really have a spot for him would be the rebels, and I'd hate to see him go there!
