I've had a brief look at most Perth-based clubs' websites since the season started. Quite a few aren't as up to date as I'd have thought.

I guess those clubs must simply be run really badly.

i have no idea what they are paying him but I would think the best player in the comp would be worth 10k. If not 10k you tell me what he/anyone other top player is worth

I don't believe Kalamunda has parted with $10K.
If they did.... So what?? Razor started off the bench against Wanneroo and was absent away with the junior' state teams over east prior to that.
A club is entitled to do whatever it wants to improve itself and be succesful. Kalamunda is still puting out Juniors across the grades... two Colts teams and beat Nedlands in Prems last weekend and is sitting third on the table.

What a top player is worth is the honour of pulling on a club jersey and maybe being bought a beer or two in the clubrooms afterwards.

I find it repulsive that individuals within clubs are paying as much as $10K to buy a players attendance (nearly said loyalty but that is the last thing these players know).

Some corrections:

Razor was absent for just 1 game with the State U15 team (not teams) and they were hammered.

Kala U20s are competitive but their U18s are on the verge of folding.

Kala is 3rd on the table only by the fact they have played predominantly the weaker teams to date ; suggest you wait until the conclusion of the Round 9 games before you start beating anyone's drum.

Tell the whole truth from now on and not just half the truth.

I've got a feeling that most of the comp has moved on from that position RM, Rocky was the last hold out of that world in the caveman days when my young feller was there. I can't say I agree with you, but I'm sure it's bloody hard to manage a team wher one bloke is worth 10k to a club and his mate next to him in the defensive line is paying club fees to play.

Razor - the best player in the comp... The air must be thin in the hills at Kala. However, if we take this as is.... is one player going to turn a club around? For your sake I hope so but with mates like NTT its highly unlikely.

I do wish Kala all the best this season and I hope that your spending spree is worth it. It failed at a number of other clubs and personally I fear that you are just setting precedents that will come back to bite you. Wait for the rest of the "top players" to start wondering why you are paying some and not others. It does not inspire much loyalty and desire to achieve.
