Any truth to the rumour that at least one Force Academy player in that age group did not make it into the Schoolboys Squad?

If so, what is he / they doing in the Academy?

By all accounts it's a big mobile tight 5, aggressive loose forwards, solids halves, skillful centres, size, skill and pace in the back three. 7 or 8 returning from last years SBs. so will be one of W.As better SB teams sent east i am told.

Well done boys. do your State proud. Gold&Black.

Wests Scarborough 1st Grade juggernaut has played finals rugby each and every year since its inception and continues this remarkable feat yet again this season and unbelievably it's still rolling on and as an added little circle jerk for the masses Wests actually hold the record for the current longest unbroken finals record.

I think Tom McCrone is the missing academy player from the squad.

As for those selected, from who I know about:

Jacob Kohinga has played really well for Kalamunda 20s. Very tricky runner, hard to put down.
Hayden Anderson is a talent. Not sure whether he is 17 or 18 but even so, the kid is good. Your typical old school hard man. Never takes a backward step, rarely misses a tackle. Will be interesting to see what he makes of this. Tristan Schneider was starting prop for u16's when he was 15. He also captained them last year. He also made wa schoolboys last year. He seemingly has a bright future. Tim Koiatu is dangerous to say the least. While there may be a few questions about how well he performs against stronger opposition, I think his experience from touring last year will have served him well.

    Go well boys.
