Did anyone see his post game interview where he goes "I can look myself in the mirror and did all I could" via text this can be taken a number of ways but on the video there was an air of arrogance as if he did his job it was the other guys who didn't perform.
Sort of reminds me of his last season here when he displayed lots of hands on hips and sulking if he didn't get the ball or if he stuffed up but it was someone elses fault.
The backline ended up becoming the pass the ball to judas and stand back and hope for something special. Much like the Rebels the backline performed much better and actually won games when he was absent. Funny that.

I would accept having him as long as there is a clause effectively saying that we can take him out the back and put him down (proverbial bullet in the back of the head), at any given time, for any reason we so wish, free of any charges.

We don't like the way you look sideways, goodbye.

Up until reading what was said both by Higgers and Benny Mac I was prepared to give him a second chance. But now I have to think there is something much deeper going on.
The Rebs want to keep Beale who has problems that are out in the open but don't want JOC!
I wonder what people aren't saying? This guy even captained the Rebs a couple of times if I remember correctly. He's going to have a problem getting a contract anywhere at the moment and unless there are excedingly good kpi's put in place I am doubtful of the benefit he will bring to the Force.
I would love to be wrong and he comes back and gets us to the finals next year but......

I believe phill Waugh roughed him up a bit once in wallabies camp......didn't go down well with the coach.

I know idea's like hazing, bastardisation etc are considered to be best consigned to the scrap heap of history and having myself been on the receiving end of bullying when I was in no state to cope with it I understand the dangers all too well.
But some form of team punishment/bastardising would seem to be possibly the only way JOC can be bought into line and earn back the respect of his team mates.

    Big call, I know.

I think it comes down to the fact he's injury prone and expensive.

Injurys aside. Something else is making people turn their backs.

Chuck Norris has the greatest Poker-Face of all time. He won the 1983 World Series of Poker, despite holding only a Joker, a Get out of Jail Free Monopoly card, a 2 of clubs, 7 of spades and a green #4 card from the game Uno.

I say bring him back! Put the clauses in his contract that force him to pull his head in. Let him train with the forwards for ruck and maul practice. If he's been a dick, I'm sure one of the piggy's will glady run their studs down his back.........
