We stayed at The Australian in The Rocks for Lions, good old pub style rooms with shared bathrooms.

Others stayed next door at the new YHA, very good rooms with ensuite also available. Huge rooftop with amazing Harbour views and cheap, just have to join or be a YHA member

There are always the few hotel next door to the ground, pretty sure Ox is staying out there for Bled.

We stayed at the Medina Classic Martin Place - serviced apartments with everything you need. Great location close to the Quay and Darling Harbour, and not overpriced. Would defo stay there again.
