This season's F1 has been particularly poor, especially following the massive pro-Red Bull rule change mid-way through the season!

Also reminiscent of dominant Schuey days but without the fun/controversy eg, Hill and Villeneuve collisions.

Think we were all hoping for a bit of controversy yesterday with Mark taking Vettel on last few laps even though Vettel had asked the team to keep him away - bloody hypocrite.

Chuck Norris has the greatest Poker-Face of all time. He won the 1983 World Series of Poker, despite holding only a Joker, a Get out of Jail Free Monopoly card, a 2 of clubs, 7 of spades and a green #4 card from the game Uno.

During the first half of the season the tyres didn't last long and occassionally blew up. Red Bull and Mercedes were very quick on new tyres, but wore them down quickly. Lotus and Ferrari were less hard on the tyres and could go for longer, so you had a play-off between how hard you could push the tyres and how often you had to stop for new ones.

They changed the tyre construction (to avoid blow-outs) and also started using harder compound tyres; some early races the teams had a choice between soft and super-soft, now it's either soft and medium or medium and hard. This means that the Red Bulls and Mercedes are still quicker but don't wear their tyres down as quickly, reducing the play-off.

Lotus and Ferrari had designed their cars based on the tyres they were told would be used this year, and were challenging for the championship based on a 'slightly slower but fewer pit-stops' strategy. Since the new tyres were introduced Vettel has won all but two of the races, with Mercedes winning the others when Vettel retired (Britain) and when Vettel was held up behind Button (Hungary).

Thanks for all the tips. Unfortunately I am, and have been for a little while now, unemployed, So my Foxtel/Setentna options are not available to me at this time.

I do on occasion find a streaming site that allows me to catch some rugby on a 3 x 3" screen with a thousand pop up adds.

But I do appreciate the thoughts.

Hey Exile - commiserations on unemployed status, have experienced that little doozy last year due to a F**##Head of an EX boss and his jealous winsome little office queen! (bitch bitch bitch!) Anyway any joy in job search or is it by choice?
