With existing club names also barred by the ARU, the new team has a working name of the Sydney Stars, and will wear a jersey with a combination of gold, blue and black colours.

The team has struck a deal with Balmain Council to play home games at Leichhardt Oval, and Livingstone says the tradition of signing big stars from around the globe will continue. Rules about foreign imports in the NRC are yet to be determined by the ARU.

What the hell is the point of having a pathway competition to identify and develop local talent if these twats are going to import the big name international has beens, the ARU needs to firm and not be sucked in by a club with money (Balmain) and power (Uni).

Too bloody right! Wasn't this the point of having a third province? A fourth province? A fifth province? Instead we get them bidding for players like European soccer clubs. This is a definite crisis of mismanagement if the ARU don't put their foot down on this one.

The final side is NSW Country , run by James Grant with money from a few old boys from Shore , with games to be played in Bathurst, Orange and Dubbo
