WA Under 20 Squad to contest CS in 2014

I have had a look at the WA Under 20's to contest for Combined States in Feb 14 and have tried to match up names to position.

Players I have not been able to determine positions are the following:

    Alistair Haining - Cottesloe
    Delroy Tapuosi - Palmyra
    Jon Tara - Southern Lions
Wouter Van der Merwe - Associates
    Dean Van Schalkwyk - Cottesloe
    Max Veech - Perth Bayswater
    Edward Brook - University

Lukas Birch is he a winger or breakaway

Lukas Birch played Kala prem's as an Openside last year and nothings changed.

Do you know when Elwee and his side-kick are making the final cut Emu?

This may be a bit out of date but I heard Nestor and Prinslo described as the Bully Brothers the other day.
    How fitting

    The timetable is

Combined States have a carnival in SA where ACT, WA , VIC, SA, QLD Country and NSW Country compete for places. Played 21-26 Feb 14

Main trials are NSW, QLD, CS and Tonga. Played 21-26 Mar 14 in Canberra

The CS have a core of fringe Super 15 level who are contracted EPS or full time Wider Training Group
    Moli Sooaemalelagi
    Alan Alaalatoa
    Tom Staniforth
    Sean McMahon
    Patrick Sio
    Jack Debreczeni
    Brad Lacey
    Luke Burton
    Lalakai Foketi

The ACT did trials in early November and invited players from interstate 13 players came with 4 making the cut. They have got eight in the squad who were schoolboy or U20 internationals. Vic will have 6-7 schoolboy or U20 internationals.

Wests Scarborough 1st Grade juggernaut has played finals rugby each and every year since its inception and continues this remarkable feat yet again this season and unbelievably it's still rolling on and as an added little circle jerk for the masses Wests actually hold the record for the current longest unbroken finals record.

Would it not be the initial squad mentioned in the link above? If you are going to play at least 3 games in 5 or 6 days, surely you'd need a squad of about 30.

I wouldn't imagine we'd have anymore than a 23 man touring squad. There's no way it'll be a squad of 30 ...... Aust. U20s will only take 28 to the IRB Jnr World Cup.

    Lots of $ $ $ $ $ $ WA or Aust. rugby just doesn't have.

WA are playing 3 games here in Adelaide over 5 days and won't need a squad of 30.

    Sat 5pm v NSW Country
    Mon 10:30am v ACT
    Wed 12:30pm v Vic

    All times CDST
