Back to the subject:

Irrespective of who we play it is important for the guys to have a hit out before the season starts.

While playing perceived "weaker" team may not test your defense structure it gives you the option to run some of your attacking plays.

These games will give us a chance to get a look at some of the new boys, and as with all teams no one shows there cards at this time so the opposition is irrelevant to a large degree.
