He hasn't really been alone this week, all of Sydney media has raved about how well the Rebels played. It's been their tactic to paper over the fact that the Tahs have pretty much sucked this year.

Conversely, most of the media have pumped up Moana instead of talking up the Force. Moana were unlucky to lose that game, Force didn't deserve to win etc.

You hold a team scoreless in the second half, there has to be some credit, but the Media already have the stories they want to write, so Rebels beating the Tahs mean they're a really bloody good side, because the Tahs can't be crap? Pump up the PI teams for the feel good factor of it and Force, all they ever want to talk about are rabid fans and gritty determination.

I hope to god we beat the Tahs just to see the excuse wagon roll out on Stan Sport.

Goes on to say “I think probably the people that have the least responsibility for that performance is the board,” Kearns said. “The people that have the most responsibility are the coaching staff, selectors and the players." (FUCK OFF!!!). This despite no clear terms of reference being announced. Our game really is in dire straits.
