    Australia women upset NZ in Sevens final

    Australia have won the women's rugby Sevens title in Brazil with a 24-12 victory over New Zealand in the final on Saturday.

    Charlotte Caslick scored the first and last of Australia's four tries to lift them to victory in Sao Paulo - the third leg of the world series - and level with their trans-Tasman rivals on the overall standings.

    Since the country is 50% women, I wonder if a gold in Brazil would increase female interest in the sport.
