Spoke to Foley after the game and he didn't seem concerned by most of the knocks. I think a couple of the boys were going for scans.

Did meet Nathan's folks and a few others in their hotel afterwards.

Shame it wasn't more open, but it wasn't for lack of trying, you could see that they had stopped hoping for a win and they were trying for a bonus point, but the Cheetahs were blatant in their refusal to clear the ball inside the 22. I don't mind that the two tries came of turnover ball, there would have been more if the penalty count wasn't as high if you know what I mean.

Now on to Cape Town and hopefully another win to round out the KPIs after which we can batter the LIons and pretty much seal a spot in the playoffs (yeah I know that's only nine)

When you look through the fixtures, there are quite a few where teams in the log-jam will cancel each other out. Our matches against the Reds and Brums could decide our fate. The Lions at home is a must. Prefereably with a BP.

A good win where in the past we might of thrown it away, some decent running rugby from broken play, lineout a big dodgy at critical phases of the game, but we'll enjoy the win....... Onwards and upwards!

Very lucky not to be a draw. I thought TMO call of no try was wrong. Should have been looked at with full speed. But that's rugby, and sometimes the luck goes our way.

Gather that will be the talking point in SA though.

OK. Matchday and arrived in Bloem about 7pm yesterday. Due to being in the Zambian bush the pub count isn't that high but we did reach the dozen last night; unless separate locations for bush sundowners are allowed, in which case we've done over 20. Expect the count to rise today and hope the boys seal a win. We could end the round 3rd with a game in hand!
