All I can submit it that Jordy Reid at least wasn't playing the game Hodgo dominated. There is always room for interpretation and bias when the possibles aren't competing head-to-head.

Also, note the telling lack of Tahs, rather than a sea of Force I didn't see the Brumbies game this week so can't talk about Tomane, but I reckon both Marcel and HB outshone Nayaravoro, who didn't do a great deal more than score a try.

I dunno Val, there has to be something in it. Sure the Force played a great game and deserved the win, but the Tahs can't have turned up like they do against other teams. We need to remember that we're still 10 and 2 and those 2 are against a team that has a history of massive mental fragility.

It proves a couple of things though.
The difference between first and last is probably only a couple of percent in reality, which makes me feel a bit better about all those games we dropped.
The tahs are as inconsistent as anybody and they won the title last year. All we need is a similar bounce of the ball and a bit more mental toughness and we might be in with a shot
We're off the bottom of the ladder and the way the Rebs are travelling, it's likely to stay that way through the bye.

Has Cheika finally realised he can't coach both the Tahs and the Wallabies.. or have I missed something??

You missed something.

Chieka was only ever going to remain Tahs coach for this season when he was appointed coach of the Wallabies last year, it was one of his conditions of taking the Wallabies gig which the ARU agreed to.

Gibbo (currently and assistant to Chieka at Tahs) was announced as coach for next season a few weeks ago.
