Everyone thinks Godwin should be at 12. The Force thought Godwin should be at 12 in 2013 and 2014. The Wallabies thought Godwin was a 12. Why do the Force now think he's a 13? It wasn't broken....switch Godwin and Junior back.

Godwin started his career at fly-half but Force coach Michael Foley moved him to inside centre two years ago. This season he will play a dual role, moving to outside centre when required.
Cheika also sees him in the outside role."At Wallaby level he's probably looking more at the second centre position but it won't go against him at all if he plays in first centre for the Force," Cheika said.

Not at all GB, I quite admire you're positive outlook & no one criticises you for being positive. Maybe the world would be a better place if we were all a little more that way inclined. But, the sad reality is I'm (& some others) are not.

GB (and myself plus a few others) are not the only ones who can see a positive side apparently..........

I know that can come across as just Coach Speak. But I really believe they have not been that far off too. Could be worse - the Lions/Cats have finished with the spoon 6 times. And they are from a genuine Rugby heartland. As I've said before, I am VERY encouraged - and proud - to see so many WA players being blooded. I just really wish a few creative, experienced players could be lured here, to the dark side of the moon, to help bring them along. I also believe that, at the moment, an over-expansive game plan from the kick-off could bring bigger losses against some of the good counter-attacking outfits. Getting the balance right for those young players only comes with experience and a good leader. Thankfully he's back on the park. Force by 1.

And therein probably lies the answer to the question as to why Foley is persisting with him in the 13 jersey. Would love to have a private, candid chat with Foley about how much free rein he really has over the way he plans the Force's game when it has potential Wallabies in it.

Godwins form at 13 hasn't warranted selection for the Wallabies IMO. It was worthy when he was playing 12 prior to his knee injury. Others may see differently. Kuridrani and AAC are 1 and 2 outside centres for Wallabies.
