Rick, I ran touch for that game. If my memory serves me well there were 9 off the field, 4 reds & 5 yellows. Oh, the memories......

Damn that's quite a alot of card-showing going on there. I imagine it was quite amusing to witness this bizarre incident.

As a front rower, I consider myself a referee coach, they just never listen to what i say.

    haha... good one RugbyFan!!
Dad tells me of some good reffing on the weekend. In the womens game at mcgilvray i think it was, a huge punch up broke out (yes, between the women). The ref then made them all sit down in the middle of the game and lectured them about how their children would feel sitting on the sidelines watching their mum's beat (or get beaten up by) the other women. They all looked very embarrassed and lots of 'sorry sir's could be heard from both teams.

I would have loved to have seen that! But then that makes me a little worried about my pending rugby career... i don't want to get beaten up...

That would be great to run on the big screen before the next Test Match.

Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Bikini mud wrestling, brilliant! Although I'd rather not see some of the girls who play rugby wear bikini's.

What occurred was a fight between North and South which led to 2 players being sent from the field. The referee, in consultation with his coach, called "no side" as he deemed the players, who apparently we quite spiteful to each other, would probably carry on the biff.
