Prinsloo, who pretends he was a fly-half, running the lineout. God help us. Nestor and backs, nothing more needs to be said. Oh, maybe Mr Jooste.
Foley had paranoia symptoms of Tai knifing him in the back! Came to a head so Tai told Foley to stick it!
    Correct. 100 per cent correct.

It really is easy to get a bit disheartened by this sort of news. Good people choosing to leave is never a good sign.
Sounds like we have Captain Bligh at the wheel and anyone who he finds a bit threatening because they are talented or hold a different opinion goes overboard. Our very own Night of the Long Knives. A sign of insecure leadership, bit like our one dimensional game plan really.

Even worse we are the best part of broke, can't afford to get rid of Ahab after the brilliant decision to extend his contract, but if things keep going to script we will never attract the support base/bums on seats to get out of the cash squeeze. Something must change, I just don't know what.

That's a pretty bold statement, my friend.

A young ambitious coach who is popular with fans and more importantly the players a genuine heir apparent is without doubt a Head Coach's worst nightmare so Tai had to go!! Starting to lose Faith in Foley

I don't actually care about the internal politics. I care about results.

I was greatly disappointed with last season. I wait with great hope/anticipation for next season.

I'd like to see the Spirit do well, but I'd like to see as many community rugby players as possible get their opportunity. I don't expect the Spirit to win the competition. I expect the Spirit to be a pathway of sorts. I expect the players playing for the Spirit to translate their continual game time into productive performances in Super Rugby.

    My glass is half full.

I have never known of an Australian team with internal problems like personality clashes/politics to ever reach their potential. If someone can name one I would be surprised.
To me, as an issue internal cohesion is about results.

I think the Australian cricket team over the years have suffered many internal problems--still seem to be right up there(apart from the last ashes when everything was meant to be hunky dory)

I never write my thoughts on threads like these as unlike the main contributors I have no inside knowledge of the internal workings of the Force. I do however read every entry that I can. From what I'e read the Force organisation is little more than a disorganised shitfight. The person I feel sorry for is Peter Grant. To me he appears to be the complete professional rugby player and a genuine nice person. If things are as bad as they are portrayed on this thread, for him to spend the final 2 years of his career here, then doubtless it will leave a bitter taste in his mouth.

    I stand corrected.

It was an odd one. Team seemed to come together in their mutual loathing of the coach.
