Talk about tough sanction Junior gets red card and three matches, which in all likelihood will ride into next season.

Can the sanction be served in ppl games? Junior is going to struggle for super rugby minutes.

The ban for a dangerous lifting tackle means he will miss the next round of the National Rugby Championship and the two-game finals series if Spirit qualify.

If they fail to make the finals he will not be available for two Western Force pre-season trials.

Didn't think the tackle warranted red, and looked to be influenced by the tackle assist player, from the Spirit. Putting everything off balance.
Even in the discussion with the touchy it looked like the conversation was - yes lifted, twisted, landed back and shoulder, technically yellow. Then the ref pulled red and even the touchie looked as though that wasn't the decision reached.

There is always the infamous 'mathematical possibility'
the spirit have a bye coming up if I remember rightly and so only have 1 game before the finals. So a maximum of 4 (5 with a bonus point or whatever) points to their current 11. Maximum 16 points maybe.
Don't think that will be enough.

Deserves the full penalty, when will they learn. Does another player have to be seriously injured before they realise that their dumb actions are dangerous.
