The sad thing about this game is that apparently Rugby WA will NOT be removing the soccer markings from the middle of the Rosalie rugby pitch. That means you have to watch the BLUE lines for touch and in-goal.

How hard is it to get a couple o'cans of green paint to remove the white lines?

Not a gr8 look for a visiting team.

Red & Yellow are my favourite colours.

Good to see a couple of locals (from club rugby) in on the action.
Jonathan Stanley, Kiti Fuluna, Greg Plimmer in the starting lineup and Bill Johnston and Ryan Tyrell on the bench.

    From other thread.
    ...
Interesting also that Josh Graham is still playing. Must be running out contractual obligations due to the injury load and no league commitments yet?
Best wishes to Johnston, Stanley, Plimmer and the returning Fuluna and Tyrell stepping up to this higher level.
    ....
Anything you or others can tell us about these local fellas RF?
Style of play, origin, potential etc?
Looking forward to a good analysis of them all post match fellas

I have just seen that there will be a $5 entry fee for both this game and on 19 August at Perry Lakes.

Must be to pay for the green paint to cover the blue lines! Does the local council know about this charge? They will when some local taking his dog for a shit complains.
The WF website advertises that entry to the game is free though...

The game this weekend (12 August) at Rosalie is definitely "FREE".
However the following week at Perry Lakes they will charge $5.

Both Greg Plimmer and Kiti Fulina have been regular first grade players for Wests Subiaco for several seasons. They will both be needed in the local comp come finals time the following week!!

    Cheers
    Eel

Bill Johnston (20) - Came from Gold Coast Breakers, where he was number 2 hooker behind Tai. Is in the Western Force Academy and playing 1st Grade at Uni.

Jon Stanley - Don't know too much about this guy. I think he's a kiwi and he plays number 8 for Perth-Bayswater. Quite fit and explosive. I heard WAIS were interested in him for his rowing abilities.

Greg Plimmer - Older than the other guys, goes alrite in the back row for Wests.

Kiti Fuluna - Back Rower for Wests. Played Perth Gold 2005?

What i wonder is, all these players that are now in Western Force Gold, why weren't they in Perth Gold. Eg, Stanley, Plimmer, Fuluna, Kuhlman-Hall.

Greg Plimmer - Captain & No.8 at Wests and has been amongst the best players in the comp for a long time.

Kiti Fuluna - Has played state rugby for several years.

Elliot Kuhlman-Hall - A young lock who travelled with the Force squad to South Africa after the Super 14s.

So where's Ioane - not in the Wallaby squad, A's are over, not injured and not playing. Is he around and focussing on training?
