If my information is correct (and it usually is) then the clubs that are definitely playing with a straight bat are Baysie, Wanneroo, Pally, Wests and Rocky.

Neddies are trying to change their approach and are half way there but those Force guys are just so irresistible - you just want to throw money at them! Going forward I think we will see a different type of Nedlands.

As for the others, their club mottos should read "The Club with the fattest wallet wins", because that's how they behave and they have not been burnt bad enough yet to have learned that buying a new team in each year is short term gain long term pain.

I knew that but just wanted Nedlands to fess up to it because the line they were pushing (some of us have good memories) was that he was playing for Neddies out of the goodness of his heart and was such a great guy he was even coaching the Under 11's.

Perhaps you misunderstood me.
I was talking about the mercenies that clubs bring in (perhaps unwittingly) with flights, board, jobs, car etc and then they buggar off to another club for money, more than often breaking the agreement/contract they had with the first club.

Dare I say it ( I know it would/will take a long time to bare fruit) wouldn't it be cheaper for Rugby WA and the clubs to invest this money into developing the young up and coming rugby players in this state! Rather than give it to EWF players and others who don't call Perth home. Not only would it be beneficial for the long term success of the club it would create a better standard of club rugby
