I REALLY loved seeing the AB's whinge about people getting taken off the back of rucks. It was really good to see them rattled. Yes they are good, but they denigrate into whingers (like a lot of others) when the foot is on their neck for a change.

I cannot believe how well they did with 14 men on the park. The Lions need to clean up the penalties otherwise they are going to be smashed.

I was "lucky" enough to be resident in NZ during the 1976 Summer Olympics. I ended up learning a lot about Field Hockey. Just about every Kiwi I knew was an expert and wanted to tell me all about the game, especially the latest results.

Well the AB's did lose the series against the Bok's in 76 so obviously you wouldn't get any conversation about that. Come to think of it the refs were shit then as well.

A lot will be made of the All Blacks hanging in there for 55 minutes, and how the Lions were not clever enough to capitalise earlier.

The weather has helped the All Blacks as the ball was very slippery and the risk of a fumble was very high. Had it been dry I am fairly sure that they would have capitalised much earlier. However they need to be much more disciplined if they want to have any chance of winning on Saturday.

I agree Alison, it should be a cracker with two quality teams desperate to win the series. Coaching tactics will be bloody interesting.
