Don't want to get people's hopes up too much but I'm hoping that the 7.30 Report will run a story next Weds or Thurs. So just keep an eye out!

Coincidentally (?), either the day of or the day after the next session of the inquiry. I hope a swag of journos turn up this time.
Anyone have information on whether there is just one morning set aside this time? Hardly seems adequate really, if they are serious about getting to the bottom of this.

They definitely need to reserve a couple of days minimum, especially if Pulvers tactic is just to deflect and answer the questions with questions questioning the validity of the questions. I imagine Clyne will be just as unethical when he is in front of the senate( that is if this filthy maggot shows up) i just hope they have the whole day at a minimum. I wonder if the ARU can just take everything on notice again? It started to honestly sound like a broken record last time, and this is from their top dog.

Well lets hope they show something.. would be a terrible shame if these shenanigans go unpunished. it just feels so unjust and noone wants to touch it.. I sometimes wonder how far the ARU sympathisers in the media extend. A large array of former players and journalist's with ties to rugby and the ARU are spread far and wide in Australian media circles. I wouldnt be surprised if this story never see's the light of day, too many NSW yes men in suits involved. Too many in the pay circle.

They haven't published the program for the hearing on 11th yet. They are probably still considering the submissions they've received so far and deciding who they want to call to give evidence. I think they can hold further hearings if they want to. Will all depend on what comes out on the 11th I guess. They aren't due to report until November so they have quite a bit of time.

That and Senator Reynolds is sitting on other hearings and doing other things in the meantime.

If the ARU refuse to attend, answer questions and provide requested documentation they risk being in contempt.

The final date for submissions is October 12th.

I believe that they have a team of people reading over the submissions and documentation as there is more to this Inquiry than the committee envisaged.
