If so, are there negotiations in place for a cheaper stadium next season?
I would say RugbyWA doesn't have the money and Minderoo are paying out heaps for WSR. I would doubt they are making a profit from it this year

The Force might make a profit this year. They don't have overheads such as overseas & interstate trips, the coaching staff isn't big, the membership sales were strong in a short period of time and the sponsorship list is rather large.

At the very least, let's hope they advertise the NRC fixtures on the big screen at the remaining WSR games.

Would be cool if they could tout for one game at NIB, maybe the Sydney or Drua game. I wonder if they trial the idea of "expressions of interest" for the NRC games? After the first one against NSW Country, see how many people would be willing to pay for an NIB Stadium ticket to watch the Sydney or Drua game?

Or more importantly, see if NIB can host a final. A grand final with WSR-style promotion would be something to behold. Perth would go rugby-mad like it was before the Fiji Warriors game.

IMHO NRC should be at McGillivray and free entry in exchange for contact details for future marketing, take the game to the people, let the clubs make the $$ on food and drinks, and then when WSR comes around you have a captive audience.

"If" we make the big dance, NIB "could" be considered, but let's concentrate on filling the hill first and foremost

Just a thought . If the squad is unchanged for NRC there’s a good chance of getting 10 000 + at the games giving the east coast boyz a hammering?

At the moment the NRC matches won't be played at NIB.

10,000 on the hill would be difficult - I'm not sure that's standing room only, I think it's standing on each other's shoulders!

At the game on Friday they mentioned the next game being the last one for the year etc.

I dunno but I think it's going to be treated as a clean break so I wouldn't think the crowds will be much different than usual as half the people wouldn't know perhaps?

I reckon if they'd promoted it, they would get 10,000 paying customers, easy. I mean, look at the opponents, all three are eminently marketable, especially Sydney and Fiji.

On a side note there are well-appointed cheap soccer grounds we could play at, Bayswater, Stirling or Floreat all hold 5,000. Bayswater even more with temp seats. I wonder if renting them wouldn't blow the budget?

A full-house standing hill at Masso Park would be an incredible atmosphere; I remember going to the old Perth Kangaroos games when we played in the Singapore Premier League, it was fantastic.
