Do you live in Adelaide?

With the Rugby 7s heading to Adelaide over Easter weekend in 2007 a few of us are planning to come over foir the event.

If there are any members on TWF out there that live in Adelaide and might be able to help us out with our arrangements leading up to the event, please send me a PM.

We'll need important things like where pubs in close proximety to ground are, hotel locations, what's open Good Friday etc.

there is a nice bed and breakfast in adelaide ... I stayed there when i went to see motley crue ... it was walking distance from the city and there were also a few pubs close by ... never got the chance to get into one though but i can find out the info if your interested ... I forget lmao ... my bad ... but yeah adelaide is pretty boring ... but then again ... i think it was the company i was in!

well i haven't been so i can't make judgement. I have to stop there for an hour on my way to sydney at the end of the year so i can judge the airport then i guess.

It's a bit boring generally, but it is a GREAT festival town - the 7's will rock!

My first (proper) girlfriend was (is) from Adelaide...she's now married with 4 (I think) kids!!! It's not a bad place and I know a few places to go out to and some good wineries (i.e. tax deductible) we can visit if we're not all in NZ for Super 14s.

oh yeh i do live in adelaide. umm basically if ur thinking about a pub to stay at i actually dont' think that there are many in the city centre at all but there are a few like good apartment style hotels i think. but basically it would depend on how many of u there were as i know of a few paces with a limited number of rooms. umm but basically there are a few good pubs in the city centre and like you can walk across the city in about 10 minutes. and as for good friday they are disputing if pubs should be open or not but i think that they have met in the middle and decided on an earlier time probs midnight but nightclubs and normal pubs are definitely open from what i remember. umm apart from that any other questions just post them here or yeh pm.
