    Anyone heard of Sandi Thom?

    OK, so the WIFE is watching Idol, and the TV is next to my PC and I heard them talk about this song that some bimbette was singing, a quick google later bought up this:

    Yeah my dad was going on about it when he was watching idol. He has an issue with the fact that a punk rock girl wouldnt have flowers in her hair.

    Well, i do have issue with that too, no self respecting punk rocker would put flowers in her hair. For a reasonable insight into Australian punk rockers of the mid 70's, check out the movie "Dogs in Space" starring Michael Hutchence - Parental warning - it's rated R. Was my fave movie shy on 20 years ago...

I love that song!!! i dont get the flowers either ... but I did buy her album ... tis pretty good ... kinda more hyppie the punk rocky ... but yeah I wish I was a punk rocker!!! lol all the good music was back in the 60's/70's! I coulda seen some great shows! like acdc for free!!! lol ... well $5 for dinner and the show hahaha and i coulda seen black sabbath for $15 ... and if I went to the same school in melbourne my dad did ... i could have seen the masters apprentices ... and if I lived in springvale cough ... I could have met that guy .... who play the card board thing ... rolf harris thats the one! .... ummm yeah woulda been good ... coulda seen the ramones too ... before they started dropping off sheesh! bloody hell! if any one finds a time machine please let me know! so I can go back in time!
