Cause you can't play in your own half, if they got a penalty we would have lost anyway. Still a great game. Brumbies just a class above today. Very good signs for the future though

Terrible kick from Godwin then the restart is kicked long? Disappointing end to a great game.

Godwin needed to kick it out

It was passed back so not easy, but better than kicking it down the throat

MOM Tom Wright? Guess the white sneakers brigade in the Stan studio picked that one.

Overall disappointing not to get the win in the end but a very exciting game and great signs for the rest of the seasons against probably the toughest Australian team away from home.

Isaack Rodda is a beast, no doubt about that. Pasitoa had a great starting debut. I was worried about McIntyre but besides his kicking he had an awesome impact off the bench. Fines need to start next week, just provides that extra spark over prior.

Some questionable decision making at key times. Some of these decisions let the Brumbies get over the try line. Hopefully a good thorough team review tomorrow.

Some good signs ahead but a must win against the Rabble next week.

Gutted. At least if you are going to kick, put it into touch where we can contest. No way was fines pass forward, big turning point along with prior getting charged down, shouldn’t be starting.

    Rodda and anstey very good

Whatever happened to that old saying “ stick it up your jumper for the next 2 minutes “?
The Force have always thought that they can lose in the last two minutes not that they can win!

Bring on the rabble, I reckon the force has had the best handling of all Aussie teams this weekend.

    Rebels the worst

Disappointing result, but very promising signs for the force. They looked the better team.
That forward pass call was a travesty and how the brumbies didn't have a yellow card or two in the first half between the Swain late hit, white holding onto the ball on the wrong side of the ruck 2m out from the line, then taking out a player off the ball from an offside position and the white swinging haymaker to the player on the ground was somewhat incredulous.

Force attack looked so much better than last year. The contrast was night and day really. Even McIntyre looked good. I expected a drubbing at the hands of the brumbies as is normally the case, so bodes well for the season to come.

Early days, but should be aiming to be one of the top 2 teams in oz this year based on the first weekend of games

Keep the same team for next week, barring injuries. Develop confidence and combinations.

Would probably just change Fines for Prior, hopefully Kunzel will be good for next week after his failed HIA

I'd like to see Kahui start at 13. I think he offers more in attack. He rarely does any dumb shite.

On that topic… 25:31 in the first half, Neville hits Kunzel with a forearm to the head.

Then there's the lift at the ruck middle of the second half which looked exactly the same as one that got a Fijian carded.

But we can't expect the refs to call the game clean, we have to be better than them even with the leg up

Isn't there a minmum period out of the game with a failed HIA?
