Well the Reds are having a red hot go at saying yes in Ch-Ch. Probably only thanks to their 2 Fiji born wingers and a prop born in Gusborne. Where Reece, Faainga'anuku & Matera were born I wouldn't have a clue. No info forthcoming.

Did you watch the game, or anyone else? Cause I need confirmation I'm not blind as a bat. @ around 65 mins it looked to me that Faainga'anuku hit McDermott straight to the head with the point of his elbow with force. McDermott prone on the deck and the Saders score. The Ambos are on the scene with the medicab within seconds. But here's the thing; hard to get a good look as only 2 very brief replays from a bad angle. A long delay before Tate is carted off. In all that time no official or TV heads seemed to think it was worth a second glance.

I saw it but rate was the tackler.

Apparently the ball carrier can't initiate head contact illegally

More concern for him was demonstrated by one of the auxiliary commentators than by the refs.

Yeah but you can't blame world rugby for wanting to get high tackles right before they work on lifted elbows and knees.By far the most common concussion suffered by tacklers has to do with the tackler getting their head in the wrong position.

Fixed. But I guess you forgot to insert a with your post. My main beef is actually with the "process", or rather lack of, given the incessant interjections of the TMO in general play these days and the length of time McDermott lay prone on the pitch.

Well going on tonight's match maybe. On home soil anyway.

Possibly the most miserable losing skipper's post match interview I've seen by Ardie Savea. Apparently nobody won tonight. The Canes beat themselves.
