    Thank you Nick Taylor

Over the last 17 plus years, we have been very fortunate enough to have someome like Nick Taylor keeping our sport and beloved team in the print and news in an AFL dominated state.

It was with a heavy heart I read his post on Facebook last night:

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Nick for the countless hours he devoted to rugby and his balanced and informative reporting.

Thank you Nick and best of luck with your future endevours.

Go well Nick Taylor and thanks for everything over the years. Your work to expose how the RA facilitated the Rabble survival was exceptional. Travel safe and I'm sure we will read more from you soon.

No WF coverage at all in The Worst since Nick left is there? Hardly surprising though. I did hear Nick was going to do some work for WF but that fell through. Anybody else heard anything.

Having parted ways with the West Australian after 17 years must leave you feeling like you've had your first bath in a long time, Nick.

You'll need to use scented soap and powerful salts for at least two years before you finally remove the stench of that association, though.

Good luck in your future endeavours.

May the West disappear up Paul Murray's fundamental orifice.

I shall never forget the hours and effort that Nick put in during 2017 when we were fighting for our survival. His reporting, insight and feedback played a huge role in getting us "NOTICED" over East and ultimately securing the attention of Twiggy and the financial support that Twiggy gave us.

Mate, on a personal note, Thank you and all the best for the future.

We are now less than four weeks to kick-off and I have hardly seen or read any news or player stuff. The Worst obviously has no interest since Nick Taylor left. What is the Force media department doing.

In the absence of articles in the West which is out of their hands, the marketing department appear to have been using social media extensivley.

Tons of information, posts and updates are being put out there by email, twitter, instagram, web page news and facebook that I am aware of and have seen.

I hope that they keep up the good work.

Thanks for the update. I tend not to use social media that much and what I have seen tends to be huff and puff stuff. I'd like to see some actual "news" stories. I wonder if they are actually pushing outlets like The Worst to get stories out there. The other Super clubs have had a fair bit of coverage - even the bloody Rabble.

Print media is dying and The West is the propaganda arm of the West Coast Eagles.

Good on the Force for doing what the other codes have been doing for a while now, although I think their website could still use some work in terms of getting news up - they don't even have the information for the trial game vs Qld on their website.

Print media is certainly going out the door but they do have websites and there's not much Force news on any of them either here or the E States.
