All kids and adults that have registered with rugbywa get a free ticket

I cannot fault the game day experience, me and my wife took 6 kids to the Moana game, we got parking 2 mins from the stadium, tickets ended up being $20 each and all the kids ended up with a free rugby ball and t shirt and met all of the players. The players are so appreciative of the fans being there and want to have a chat after the game. You cannot get that experience at an AFL game or other sports. Hopefully some of the kids we brought are now converted and come back with their families.

But completely agree winning definitely helps and will bring crowds

Is that a free ticket per game or a free ticket per season?

Garry great first post and welcome on board.

I agree totally, the difference between rugby and most other sports is fan enagagment, the after the siren on the field engagement has been awesome.

    Just one per game

Also worth noting that the Brumbies crowds have been dwindling the last few years and now they only get about 8,000 per game and that is with something like a 90% win record at home, so winning is not necessarily the silver bullet

Canberra sports market is a different Kettle of fish to Perth tho.

Perth crowds will turn up in droves to watch the WA shit eating team if they're sure of a win.

For what its worth - I emailed my idea to ForceHQ.

And, I encourage everyone else to do the same.

I don't consider my idea the answer to the problem. But, there is no harm in trying.

Yeah but, shit eating has a lot of novelty value plus there's plenty of rusted-on diehards

Rusted on diehards is a rugby term, in the high pressure world of shit eating they're called dags
