    ***CAUTION***CAUTION***CAUTION***

This Sunday there looks like there is a scheduling conflict.

Western Force vs Hurricanes from 1pm (Sydney Time) and Australian Formula 1 Gran Prix Sunday from 1.30 (Sydney Time)

With TV Coverage Kick off will be 1.35(approx) and Lights Out at 3pm. So we may get away with it. But. You have all been warned.

    You're welcome.

Certainly F1 always used to be 3 pm starts (local time) for the parade lap. The only race not like this was Monaco (just because, the Monaco GP makes it's own rules). But now there are night races and times are moved around for the TV markets, but I'd expect the race to start at about 3.05. The first 1.5 hours of the broadcast will just be the commentators waffling on, anyway.

Between Stan and Kayo surely it's easy just to stream it and presto there is no overlap.

I have 2 screens for my PC - I will attempt to stream them both side by side and alternate the sound as required.

Hopefully, my NBN can keep up with it.

Lern2linux. Back in the day, when I was testing linux, I was able to use the display settings to show a movie on the desktop background, and run irc and a browser session as well, so I could see all 3 at the same time.

Compiz + opacity setting (and setting VLC to out display onto the background for the movie)

I've just finished setting up a new workstation at home with the laptop, second monitor and an 55 inch LG smart TV mounted on the wall with the PS5 as a part of the workstation - plugged in to the Laptop to act as a 3rd monitor if I want but usually just run the apps like Kayo or YouTube straight via the TV.

Enough to have multiple sports on and/or fire up the PS5 or Xbox Gampass at once...I mean to do WFH

    Sounds very cool.

I use a Nvidia Shield as my "SmartTV" plug-in for my TV and the Projector in the Shed. Allows me to control KAYO, Stan Sports, Spotify, and Plex up to 4K.

I love this device. Highly recommend it. Also allows Emulators for old-school games up to N64, PS1, and Sega Saturn/Genesis. And accepts xBox or PlayStation wireless controllers.
