Santiago is vital to turn that into a competitive team.

If the signing of Harry Hoopert is true then him and Medrano would be the starters and makes the depth look a lot better.

Hard to see Hamish Stewart being on the bench but I do also rate the other 2 centres highly. Good to have competition for places

Trying to embrace this new age "finisher" mindset and I think he arguably covers more positions than Kuenzle and Spink.
Probably more so though, the backline is one I can envision, if "invested" in (ie long term contracts and believing in them) that could stay together for 5-6 years. I'm not convinced (but happy to be proved wrong) if Stewart fits that description and I think we need to invest in the long term as much as, or even more so, than 2024.
But yes, having players worth arguing over is a good thing.

Santiago Medrano was left out of Argentina’s roster for Rugby World Cup 2023. He will nonetheless be playing in France. Top 14 club Lyon have signed the Argentine tight-head on a short-term deal during the Super Rugby off-season.

According to these guys, if you include Santi and Hoopert for The BM Twins (who sound like Academy?) we're at 37.
Of the four unknown contract ends, I'd suggest Amone and Romano being the only real potential losses, if departing, with all respect to Norris and Foliaki.

I suspect Siosifa Amone will be back.

He had some work done on his knee in the off season and was in a brace a few weeks back and will require a bit of rehab before the season kicks off.

I did notice him watching a couple of Perth Bayswater games, so I am hopeful he will be back.
