So I’ve just got home and am watching the game into the second half and my take is that Wells is more playing the game of a 6. All be it an old one but, Rahboni just a passenger, Simpson thanks for your service, just wants to box kick and certainly won’t put his head over the ball. Anstee helped change the dynamic. Kibirige thanks for your support but enjoy the homeland.

Chiefs D was outstanding. Ours was soft as shit. I’m sure other teams could unlock them a little more than we could/did. Lost the collision battle outright & waaaaay too many missed tackles. Tizzano fell off their 8 under the posts but where was his defensive support? Double shoulders as Thrush said! Too many bystanders. Carlo was the only one who stood up out of the starting back 3. Voyasco went missing. Wells is barely making the bench if he hasn’t got the Captains armband. Poor Anstee could have been pushing for a WC place this year. He won’t get a look now.

As soon as things started going wrong it spiralled. Rudderless ship on the pitch when shit goes sideways.

Burey was hungry as fu@k. He made a couple of mistakes, but geez the boy tries hard. 50/22 at the start. Grubber for the try. And then his own try says everything you need to know about him. He DESERVES a contract.

One thing I noticed as well was the amount of some of our forwards just getting ragdolled! Times have changed in rugby now where you could possibly hide 1 or 2 forwards but not anymore.
Agree with your last line Dom but if we persist with putting up with inconsistent players each week well it’ll be a pretty ordinary season again. There’s a reason why some of these lads are being let go by other clubs, and we take them on.
