Other (non Wallaby) world cup games

French did a job on the AB's obviously.

Just watched the Poms v Argentina. England we're down to 14 men from the 3rd minute after a reviewed yellow was turned red.

Played very good 14 man rugby. Popped over 3 DG's. Good job they've found their defensive game cos their attacks is shit.

What was up with the Pumas in that one? Couple of phases, turnover. Couple of phases, knock-on. Couple of phases, penalty.

Just cannot play the Poms at a world cup, always choke

I think it is a good result for the Wallabies, compared to the reverse result.
Pumas will get into their own heads and potentially melt down from here, while the Poms will believe their own bullshit and be cocky.
If the Pumas had won they would have been riding a wave of confidence and the Poms losing would see them dig in with a stronger resolve.
Similar to never wanting to play the AB's following a loss... except this week...

This Chile vs Japan is good to watch, refreshing to see teams not kicking the ball away every possession.

I think the Italians have won the RWC fashion stakes. Richard Hardwick, despite a dodgy throw whilst filling in as hooker, got some good game time. A bit disappointed in the end result.

    GOOD GOD FIJI!!!!

That Fiji vs Wales game was one of the greatest I've seen. It's like rugby back in the late 90s - turn of the millennium.

Managed about 20 minutes of sco v RSAIf you picked your moments carefully you could make a case that Scotland deserved to win, but they couldn't manage the pressure for more than a couple of minutes in either defence or attack.Boks were solid and brutal consistently for the whole time I was watching, with very few mistakes. They're going to be hard to beat and sco will scare some teams for sure,

Did anyone hear Dan Biggar giving his backs a full F bomb spray (on mic) when they tried to pull the trigger from their own goal line on half time

    yeah, hard to miss!

But he had a go at atleast one other during the ifrst half. he was weirdly agressive at his team mates, and not in a good way

Wow, what a match! Georgia tried their best to be our saviours and I think they were possibly the better team on the night.
If not the early injuries (arguably off set by Fiji Yellow) and a missed try at the Half, then could well have taken the honours.
Really feel for Georgia, but they will be an impressive unit by 2027.
