Interested to know if "Western Force Ambassadors" means "won't be playing"?

I think you've got it, Burgs.

It's the allocation of the Academy players that will have the biggest impact on the local club competition.

Do the Clubs get any input into that Fulv, or just wait to see who turns up to training?

Just a thought, ever thought about developing your own homegrown instead of waiting for Academy player allocation's and Wests correct name is Wests Scarborough,we haven't been called Wests Subiaco for 13 years, actually quite bloody insulting but why am I not surprised

Wests Scarborough 1st Grade juggernaut has played finals rugby each and every year since its inception and continues this remarkable feat yet again this season and unbelievably it's still rolling on and as an added little circle jerk for the masses Wests actually hold the record for the current longest unbroken finals record.

Burgs, nothing happens spontaneously in club rugby. There are deals done, favours called in, and and exchanges of threats and promises passing between administrators of clubs, RugbyWA and the academy.

Usually, in the end everybody gets something, though in many instances it is a case of be careful what you wish for.

In Palmyra's experience we have learnt that no one owes us anything and we have had to grow our own players and import what else we need judiciously outside of the local scene. Everything else is a bonus.

And Westieman, what the fuck are you on about?

Westy, not sure if you think you were criticising RWA/Force but you weren't, you are criticising me.
I typed that out in the late hours last night from the jpeg that was floating around social media to attempt to make it easier for all reading it and perhaps their using the written text for their own commentary.
If you feel you can do a better job in promoting the local comp then please feel free to do so.

From previous discussions with WF personnel the allocation is done by the following:
    - If a player has an existing club allegiance that has priority and is honoured.
    - The clubs are asked if they have a preference for positional players and where possible allocations take that into account.
    - In the past clubs have rejected players that were offered.
    - Local Academy players play with their local clubs.
    - Interstate Academy players are free to play with their home/interstate club under the umbrella of their WF strength/conditioning/skills/diet programs. Some, such as Doug Phillipson elected to play locally (Palmyra).
    - High profile/valued players are under no pressure to play locally hence the "Ambassadors".

As far as I know WF player contracts still have the 350 hrs/year of community involvement requirement (i.e average of 7 hrs per week).

I can understand the frustration of the local clubs as some WF will be N/A due to providing injury coverage for the named XXXIII.

Irrelevant. He managed to get Fulvio to drop an F-Bomb, which I think is a first on here.

My reply was in response to a post from a few days ago from RWA or the Force can't recall which one that named which players were aligned with the various clubs and it described West Scarborough as West Subiaco, can't find it now so it has obviously been taken down.

Thanks for the offer Burgs but after last season's disgraceful corrupt decisions regarding player eligibility I won't be in a hurry to start up any interest regarding club rugby in this town,if anyone isn't aware of what happened you probably need to get out a bit more,I'll leave it at that but a few board members reputations are in absolute tatters.

I typed it from this, it only has the logo.
But of course I should have realised you were referring to something that was a few days ago.
