Would love to see White start as well to give the best backline cohesion using the Force 9, 10, 12.
This is Donaldson't chance to really show what he's got. As long as Tate isn't starting, I reckon he's going to go great and lock down that 10 jersey for a while.

4 starters from the Force has got to be some sort of record, right?

They all have a better chance to shine against the Pumas rather than the Boks or Blacks. (Even though Tizzano has already made a great fist of it.)

Apparently Donaldson and Williams starting is due to injuries. But the truest cliche in sport is the one about opportunity. Williams is pretty safely in the match day squad. Donaldson will likely never get a better opportunity to unseat a poorly performing Lolesio.
It's very satisfying in any event. Doubt we have had 4 starters since, Sharpe, McCalman. Hodgo et al.

We certainly had 4 starters for the England match at Subi in 2010: Sharpe, Pocock, Brown & O'Connor, plus both wingers (Ioane & Mitchell) were ex-Force players, and Hodgo was a sub.

I think Donaldson wants to have a great, composed game this weekend. Lolesio has the inside running but hasn't shown a whole lot to justify that. A good, strong performance might be enough to change Joe's mind.

Williams is not IMHO an International lock, but he is an 80 minute players, a valuable lineout option and offers the mobility and attacking threat we need, especially with Carlo proving such good service going the pig work. Personally I think he'd be a great 6-who-can-play-lock for the Wallabies, but Harry Wilson has earned another go around which understandably pushes our best forward into 6.

It appears that Nic is out of favour at this point, but I can't see anything in Jake Gordon's game that justifies him even gettign on the field. He must train like a demon!

Who he plays for? The starting 15 have 5 contracted Waratahs, 4 Force, 3 Brumbies, 2 Reds and Koroibete (Saitama). They couldn't possibly select a side with more Force players than Waratahs!

I count 3 contracted Waratahs, 2 Rebels who are going to become Waratahs, 3 Brumbies, 4 Force and 2 Reds with Koroibete being the overseas pick.

A timely injury to Lolesio, but don't get the Gordon pairing.

Am keen to see Flook have some time outside of Stewart.
Much is made of Paisami's size, however, Stewart is 2cm taller and 2kg heavier... (Ikitau is same height and 4kg heavier than Stewart, therefore 6kg heavier than Paisami)
I don't think "bash and crash" is suiting where we are in the International Rugby landscape at this point, so a bit more mobility I think would be a good thing.

Another 80 by Tizzano at the same standard deserves a McReight comeback to be via the Bench.

I hope a change to the back helps Kellaway, as he has been pretty plain in the last couple of fixtures.

Bloody hell, what a game. The first 30 mins I was thinking this is the most enjoyable Wallabies game Ive seen in a long time. As the game progressed not only did the wheels fall off but the whole cart disintegrated.
On a positive note I thought both Donaldson and Williams made the most of their opportunities & Tizzano and Stewart put in good shifts.
James Slipper may have equalled Greagans' number of tests but he had a bit of a shocker. Probably need to give someone else a go. By the end of the game we seemed to have too many small bodies out there getting steamrolled by the Argies. Lynaugh still looks immature and probably needs at least another year in Super Rugby before playing against the big boys in Internationals.
Amazing what confidence can do for you. Once the Argies got on a roll they became unstoppable.

Yes became a pretty miserable watch after 30mins! One step forward 20 back sadly. I hope we have some injuries back for NZ.

    What he said...
I think the 25 minute water break was the deal breaker.
In the minute before that I was starting to think it was the Pumas of old about to implode spectacularly.
They came out of that far more focused and harder hitting and then by the 30 that most are quoting it had spun 180 degrees.

On the positive front, am really looking forward to Force SR 2025 now, though need to work on depth after today's announcements!

I think Donno did himself plenty of favours last night.

I only saw two errors and they were both before the rot set in, he looked confident playing flat and took some great options. A very composed performance which I haven't seen from Lolly yet.

Lynagh was thrown into the worst situation possible, I don't think I'd read much from that other than we need to protect him a bit better. Forwards were being belted, backs were in disarray, we were well behind on the scoreboard and he doesn't have enough respect amongst the boys to be the one who pulls them out of the shit. I don't think we have a 10 in the squad who could have handled that Maybe JOC could have arrested the slide, but he was busy getting pissed with Brothers.

I don't think enough has been said in the media about Stewart. I think he's the reason Ikitau is looking so dangerous, he's giving good service, Lenny gets the ball on the front foot and knows when he's not getting it so he can clean out. I hope Paisami isn't thrust straight in once fit, because that would be based on hype, not merit.
