Reds doing the right thing by us anyway. Stay in 5th & ambush the Blues next week.
"The main difference between playing League and Union is that now I get my hangovers on Monday instead of Sunday - Tom David
Said it before and will say it again Poolman has had enough chances, can’t believe they persist with him, every other super rugby winger would score that try. Obviously no impact on the game but still frustrating. Potter on the other hand should start for the wallabies, has that X factor that they need.
What was the story with Williams and Moli? Are they out for a while, or back next week?
Despite the result, I though CdC, Robertson and Potter all has good games. Really loving having CdC in our team.
A disappointing night out but realistically not unexpected. We had a brutal 90 minute match last week, a six day turnaround, a flight to New Zealand, substantial injuries testing our depth to the extent where the reserve prop only joined the team 4 days earlier and playing on an open oval with a swirling wind.
We gave it a decent crack in the first thirty minutes then the above mentioned factors took there toll and we wilted against a very strong and on form Chiefs outfit.
As the stats will show we did very well in defence despite the score line suggesting otherwise.187 tackles at an 87% completion rate. Tizzano 20 tackles with no misses, NCdC 19 tackles, ably supported by Dr Robbo, Stewart Dolly and Coxon.
The attack stats show just how blunted we were with our worst stats to date this season, however Potter was immense and Grealy never stopped trying.
Hard to pick a MOM, but for me Nic Champion de Crepigny was the standout, closely followed by Potter and Coxon needs an honourable mention for a decent outing around the park despite a difficult night in the scrumming department.
Agree with Chiraag, NCdC slowly becoming one of our most valuable players, thank goodness we have locked him in long term.

Nick C de C's abrasive defence is a major plus but his regular tough carries are something we've lacked to date. Has the pleasing knack of irritating Kiwi forwards who generally expect that to be their territory. Hopefully he continues that without crossing the line. We're much stronger with him on the field.
The run home is interesting with teams spoiling each other on both sides of the ditch. Optimistically it looks like 5th or 6th for us. I'd be ok with that.
Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
We could use Moli, Williams and Nick White back against the Blues.
Harris looked to have a dodgy ankle. Maybe bring Princep in and Koteka to the bench.
Loved what the Reds did to the Blues. A win against the Blues would go a long way at this point.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.

Think I saw Nick White in training pictures on facebook this week so fingers crossed. Brumbies or Blues weren't brilliant last week so have a tiny bit of hope.
