Im in support for the 31,000 seat stadia, and as one of my articles previously stated, the Force where privately accepting anything around the 30,000 mark. So the fact they have agreed to it, is a positive sign that the development is going to get under way.

I do trust the source, because the reduction in capacity is one not surprising and two, I think like everything an announcement will be made later then timetabled, which is what happens in Perth.

Just emailed Tom Baddeley and he dismissed that the proposal that was told on this forum was in any way correct.

He said it was 'way off the mark'.

So according to the force, that above snippet is inaccurate.

Hope that gives some accuracy to the position the Western Force have.

This is when CEO Giorgi commented on the development and the Force accepting anything around the 30,000 mark.

Is quite interesting that the Force have said it was way off the track.

The snippet of information that the stadium will be 31,000 is apparently inaccurate...I have also rung up the Town of Vincent, who have said they have heard no information about it.

So he may have just been making up stuff, because he gets asked the same question time and time again.

A little of topic but represents the general problem in WA; if the Wildcats make the NBL Finals they won't be able to play in their home because it has been booked out for the live tour of "Little Britain"!!!!!! And they're struggling to find an alternative, to the level that Andrew Vlahov was only half joking when he said maybe they would have to play an open air match.
It's a joke!
The whole scenario is a farce and it really annoys me that "experts" keep talking down the needs of the State.
The saying is "Build it and they will come", well in WA it is a case of "Build it for they are already coming!"
What it boils down to is a era of Government indecisiveness and dithering.
Get some balls and utilise our wealth or bugger off and let someone who will into the position

I'll give you the tip Burgs, there's a fair chance I'd pay and go see Little Britain but no way in the world would I go to the basketball even if they paid me...

Probably me too fulv, but the point is it is meant to be their home stadium yet, as there aren't enough venues in Perth, our National level basketball team is unable to compete on their home court if they make the finals!
Would be like the Eagles having a Semi Final at Bassendean because the Wiggles had booked out Subiaco.
