How about a 2007 Players cap with the TWF web address on the back of it?

Dear Lord, if you give us back Johnny Cash, we'll give you Justin Bieber.

They are very popular up here with fans and players alike. I have several, although I do wear a cap more often.

I would suggest that you all just hang onto your visors for a few year until they become popular down there. You are years behind us in most things so why should head wear fashion be any different?

Actually, Larry, we stopped wearing visors in the early middle ages when our ancestors stopped going on Crusades.

Sorry pruc we do up here in the US. Do you have any idea where the origin of what you call a cap is?

I suspect it's something from Egyptian times and linked into the various Crowns that the Pharoahs wore.

A term "Crown" (as in "Cap Crown") first appears in the Second Intermediate Period determined with the symbol of the cap, suggesting its derivation. The cap appears either without decoration, with horizontal lines or with circles and is worn with uraeus. Coloured representations are blue or gold ( colours!).

The only surviving cap, on the mummy of Tutankhamun is of white linen, embroidered with gold & faience beads. Its use in representations of the cult has let to its being interpreted as the headdress of the royal or divine son. During the Amarna period, it can be worn by the queen, often complementing the Blue Crown. A similar shaped blue cap is worn by the god Ptah.
