Let me see if I got this right:
    Reds defeat Samoa 31 - 3
Force defeat Samoa 59 -10 (The Force's 33-3 half-time lead surpassed what the Reds could manage over 80 minutes)
    Reds defeat Highlanders 17-15

Force play Highlanders in 6 days, reckon a home win is on the cards?

Maaaaybe, but Rugby is the priority. I'm planning on doing something like this every year, cos it's usually about week 4 before we get a home game.

Particularly if we can turn on another hot day. I see the long range forecast is for 31 degrees -- if it is a late one those poor boys from Dunedin will be panting like a prop in a pie shop.

God no, not panting THAT much.

I see next Friday's temperature has now been upgrade to 39 degrees. Those poor Dunedin boys will all have double vision by half time.
