Too many sub-forums

1st day noob here, so apologies if I'm out of order. My first impression is just being overwhelmed by the amount of forums/sub-forums. I mean, do they really need a classifieds forum ?

It just makes it hard to know where to get started.

Ice, it may seem confusing now but you'll soon have no problem. Just stay away from the ladies lounge, nothing good goes on in there!

There are a lot and a bit of rationalisation might be in order...

Having a number of well labelled forums also helps with search engine rankings, the forum names become search engine phrases. for example, if you google Western Australian Country Rugby, top of the list is a TWF forum...

Welcome VI, as above once you catch up (or just ignore the older stuff) you should find it easier having it all broken up, I generally just work off the "New Posts" in the Forums drop down menu at the top of the page.

I tried to reply to this last night but had server probs, so much of what I thought has been said, but here goes...

First of all, welcome! Guess it must be a bit overwhelming if you're new on site.

Hang in there, it's a fab site - it's just sort of grown as membership and use have increased. The forum architecture means that you get what it says on the label - if you want to talk Western Force, go there, if you want to talk RWC, go there, for cricket, see other sports, for general chat try the Public Bar and if you love pink, try the Ladies Lounge!

And as Burgs says, you'll see the most recent posts/active forums on the home page, so that'll get you started...

I just click on 'forums' in the yellow tool bar at the top of the page and select 'new forums' and that takes you to a list of everything that has been updated since your last visit.

Can't go wrong
