I reckon there is nothing wrong with the wave however it needs to be done at certain times of the game . Its good fun to do it 3 or 4 times during a game but after a while it does get annoying as most people are trying to concentrate on the game.

I also noticed that the wave is generally started when the game hits a bit of a low point and the specators get bored so i suppose its not too bad but there's a time and place for everything.
