    How sharp is Nathan?

Is it just me, or is Sharpie a bit soft?

I kinda think he needs to harden up a bit, you know lead hard from the front. Look at the blues, they have Troy Flavell as captain! He is a deadset physco too.

he might have been a bit soft when he was with the Reds, the move west has hardened him up no end - Sharpe is well and truly making an even bigger impact than usual the last few games - keep watching, he is everywhere!

Sharp is a consistant performer !! he takes his linouts and makes ground on his hitups and is strong in defence ! any suggestion that hes soft is weak and fuel'd by stupidity

I dunno... he was pretty angry and fired up about some of the calls by the ref in the game against the highlanders...

camera caught him looking very unimpresed a few times.

He gets angry when it counts

Neck up belter and 'arden up at the same time. Dont see you out there with your flamboyant 80's style music.

Sharpe by any other name is still a brick. But not soft.

Sharpe and Flavell a two very different types of players Flavall is very much a hardman that if it looks a bit dicey he'll call for the ball and take it up.

Shape is tough but not a reformed bad boy, Cannon is probably the enforcer out on the field - I think it is part of whats missing from the force dynamic someone who instills a bit of fear in the opposition. There is no Phill Waugh, Jerry Collins, no Flavell lurking on the field that have that controlled mongrel.

Sharpe is a good workman with excellent technical skills and strength, but you don't see him manhandling opposition players and getting in their faces.

Does a lock have to be an enforcer? I think so, but that's only my opinion. I suppose its okay if at least one of the locks is prepared to be a bit of a mongrel .

Give Bam-Bam a year or two, he seems to have the ability to attract the Refs attention and yellow card like the players you mention Nick.
