He did an ankle last season as well. Every time I see him play there's something about then way he's put together and the way he runs that just make his ankles look very vulnerable.

Being of similar dimensions to the big fellow i can honestly say that the loading on your joints when running is huge, like Darryl Eastlakes Huuuge....If the problem isn't addressed asap then it will fester and become unbearable, as is my situation now as i have spurs on both heels...Like a rooster, hahaha...The pain can be excrutiating after training or after a day on your feet...The solution is surgery, if affordable, weight loss which Rodzilla probably doesn't want, or grin and bear it, as i do...

Me too, from what i can recall it isn't too invasive surgery, keyhole i think, but i am not sure if that is the only problem though...Still, he should heal quickly and get back sooner rather than later...

I'd like to see him hit the knife and have a three week recovery, I'm not really interested in seeing the Reds get the wooden spoon, just want 2 play them with themin as bad shape as we were last year.

With Blake and Coutts gone for the season and Holmes for how long ? we Reds need frontrowers. Any chance you making a comeback 'frontrow' after some keyholing ?

Great post WF2006. I've been concerned as to the 'purpley reds', especially when they play against really red teams like Crus' and Lions. Qld Reds aren't red, they're maroon or crimson. We can't have the Maroon's tag tho cos that's the NRL's Qld State of Origin team.

With the Reds logo as the koala , I feel its better we call ourselves the Crimson Koalas, or if that's too woossy, then the Krimzon Koalas would do the same job.

There's an increasing amount of real red on the Reds training/casual gear, along with the maroon/crimson, and the combination is puke. Its a colour clash that isn't needed by 'Krimzon Koalas' or the Krimzons.

I'd prefer Krimzons or Crimsons to Purpley Reds !

I'll try this as a new thread if I can and see if any responses.
